Electrofusion Fittings

Electrofusion, which is also known as electrofusion joining, is a technique of joining HDPE and other plastic pipes by fixing them using special fittings containing built-in electric heating elements that are utilized to weld the joining together. We use fittings and heating elements in our electrofusion fittings that are attached to the pipes, and when a voltage is applied to the fittings, it welds the fittings together creating a strong and homogenous connection. We offer you quality fittings in electrofusion. The electrofusion fittings are constructed using high-density PE 100 to be certain that the internal layer of the fitting and the outer layer of the pipe are fused. Electrofusion of HDPE involves electrofusion fittings that are coiled with small copper wires on the inside. Then an electric current is passed through those wires by the use of an electrofusion processor, which then in turn melts the HDPE on the inside of the fitting and the outside of the pipe. The given welding is performed by the means of the electrical resistance within the fitting by means of the specific welding machine. The parameters which are to be specified, such as the temperature and installation time, are printed on the label, and they are what the machine reads through the barcode. Electrofusion procedure enables a considerable shortening of the time of assembling and the area occupied in the process of connecting the pipes. Electrofusion fittings have couplers, reducers, tees, among others.
